Engineering

Our engineering goal is to support our customers with innovative and efficient products while maintaining short product development cycle, high quality design and competitive pricing.

Our greatest asset is a highly skilled, inventive, and multi-disciplinary team of engineers that support all processes from Thermal and Structural analysis through all production stages. They can provide you with the most efficient thermal and mechanical design solutions in a large variety of construction materials for even the most challenging cooling problems.

Leveraging our experience gained over 30 years, we have developed in-house unique and powerful proprietary software for thermal optimization and tested it on the toughest design challenges. Of course, we also use industry standards CAD software such as SolidWorks.

Our engineering team also manages projects of qualification programs for all our products including test plans (ATP and QTP) to get our products qualified by either the FAA for the civilian projects or the Department of Defense for the military products.

The Engineering Department is engaged with R&D of Heat Exchangers and manufacturing processes. This includes the following subjects:

  • Analytical R&D
  • Mechanical and Metallurgical R&D
  • Manufacturing Design

Our Engineering department enables our After Market operation to serve our customers with high end top quality services such as overhaul and repair while still offering clean and test services. In addition, we developed our prominent RECORE process, which is based on replacing the failed core matrix with a new core. This proces enable us to support our customer with 'zero time' unit for less than 50% of the cost of a new unit, and with delivery times averaging 14 days after receipt of an old unit.

Manufacturing

One of our top objectives is to meet our customers' specifications and constantly changing requirements. To meet this goal, we are continuously investing in our manufacturing shop and test facilities. We maintain our impressive array of state-of-the-art equipment, covering all major metalworking and fabrication processes, such as the advanced vacuum furnace brazing. We have the ability to manufacture large quantities in serial production to meet our customers' supply schedules. Our manufacturing capabilities include the following processes:

  • Shearing and forming of sheet metal
  • Forming of fin
  • Cutting and EDM of fin
  • Chemical cleaning and finishing
  • Stacking (assembly for brazing) of heat exchangers
  • Vacuum brazing
  • Aluminum Heat-treatment
  • Welding
  • Fabrication of tooling
  • Machining
  • Chemical finishing (alodine and passivation)
  • Painting and marking
  • Functional testing

Quality Assurance & Certifications

The performance of the above-mentioned functions in-house permits process control and scheduling control.

  • OEM Manufacturing
    As a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry, we are bound to the most stringent quality assurance standards. Our quality system complies with the international standards ISO 9000 (1994), D1-9000, AS 9100 and FAR 21.303.

  • After Market Repair
    Our repair stations are certified on five continents and have Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) and PMA's for most of the aircraft in the world. We currently service over 65 Airlines and Military Organizations Worldwide. Our Heat Transfer operation is FAA certified under certificate CZ2R760K and our Pneumatic Ducting operation is FAA certified under certificate OEOR243L.
